Good News for Home Sellers!

Cooler temps and winter weather starting in October typically means fewer homes for the Mat-Su Valley real estate market and this year is following the trend.  Reviewing the spreadsheets below the number of residential properties are beginning to decrease.  Within just a month there are now 71 fewer residential listings actively being marketed in the Palmer, Wasilla, Big Lake, Houston, and Meadow Lakes areas.

News for Sellers: The number of homes having received accepted offers are staying fairly steady with only a small decrease within a month.  This means home buyers are still out there buying homes.

More News for Sellers: 40 homes in the past month have ended their agreements to market on the MLS and have expired.

Good News for Sellers! The good news…..if your home is being marketed for sale today this equates to less competition and with the steady flow of home buyers still on the market it could mean an offer is right around the corner!
